I heard team name will be loggers. Why wouldn’t they use the Wheat Kings, as they were in the FLHL days? He is referencing the Carrot River team.

League better be careful, it’s already Watered down to slightly above rec Hockey. Some of these teams that don’t Want to spend money and say only locals, Well the localls half don’t show up and The other half nobody wants. Only a Few legit players on the bottom teams Can you imagine if they lost the ones A bit more dedicated from out of town? Just saying there is a reason the nhl doesn’t Expan to every city. And this is not the NHL but the same principle applies.

Its maybe finally their turn to get a team. Remember this isn’t the llhl, svhl, Qvhhl, big six.

I’m thinking if we get in to the wheatland we are gonna be champs for many years to come. Fortier and whoever else on tisdale might be good but I don’t see them matching up with us. Good luck!

Kelvington and Carrot River have both applied to join the league. Not sure when the vote takes place

If kelvington, preeceville and carrot river all get accepted puts the league at 10 teams, assuming they split into divisions how do you think that would look? North and south probably wouldn’t work anymore as there’s really only 3 southern teams. Or just go no divisions and play every team twice for 18 games?

I don’t believe there was any talk of Preeceville joining at the meeting last week. Carrot and Kelvington both applied but it will be decided in the fall.

These two teams will make the league better. Both teams bringing in talent as well. 16 game regular season makes sense also.will will be some good rivalries up north.

Wouldn’t the teams need to know before the fall if they are accepted so they can make sure to have players ?
