Who cares this is the worst league in the province. no way, wheatland and sphl way worse I don’t think the wheatland is too far behind the twin rivers. There might be more depth in the twin rivers but the top wheatland teams would still be very competitive considering there are no elite limitations.

Kinistino played in the TRHL in 2022-23 and went 11-5, played in the wheatland the next year and went 7-7. Not sure if their roster changed much, also I think the TRHL has gotten significantly better over the last 2 years, but still the best comparison we have.

This league is hands down the worst in the province. Quit trying to pump your own tires. It’s not because your teams are bad, your rules prevent it from being a better league.

What is the definition of a successful League? Fan Support? Quality of players? Parity? The quality of hockey in the Twin Rivers is less than other leagues. But it was created to keep local players involved and communities supporting their teams and arenas. I beleive the Twin Rivers is very successful in filling rinks and getting more parity among the teams every year.

This is true, the leagues rules are very preventative. Wouldn’t need these rules in place but thanks to leagues like the long lake every decent player wants to make their mortgage payment by playing 2 games of hockey.

No one said the Twin was the best league in the province, but the top 5 teams in the league would be able to compete in any other with a full lineup. It’s also way closer to Saskatoon if they opened up the Elite rule it probably would be the best league hands down. The locations of teams are too central to be a bad league no matter what.
