The more goals outlooks goalie let’s in the more entertaining the ice weapons are to watch. In his defense tonight most of the goals were breakaways or 2 on 1’s it seemed but after 17 goals I start to forget but still not a good save percentage. Surprised we didn’t see another Debruin show after 4 goals on 5 shots to open the game. Kindersley made their chances count but the ice weapons had control for a good part of the game. For the crowds sake as scary as Plant is to watch he makes their stars go to work and we get to see some great talent. If the weapons had solid goaltending I don’t think many of their games would be very close.

Interesting match-ups in both line-ups. Outlook was the better team for most of the game, but am curious if that changes when Kindersley has the last change. And yes, I think Outlook's tendy was hung to dry after a few bad turnovers/pinches. But 4 goals on the first 4 shots never looks good.

Ya have to agree; Outlook's goalie was hung out to dry - didn't let in any "bad goals" but didn't make any "big saves"

My god have us fans in the Kenaston, Dinsmore, Outlook areas been spoiled this winter. So many incredible games and moments and towns coming together after this shit show 2 years. It’s amazing. What a game last night. Kindo came out flying, they try to run and gun and Outlook was not prepared for that. Gave up a bunch of 2 on 1’s and breakaways. I think 6 of the 8 kindo goals were on those. Outlooks goalie didn’t really have a bad game, he didn’t have a chance on at least 7 goals. Outlook never really slumped tho. They just kept coming in waves, nose down and pushing the pace all night. Kindo went down to two lines and it hurt them; guys ran out of gas. Outlook can run their 3 lines and 4-5 D. That barn was rocking after the winner wow. Dzurzynski line is a force. Hope was good.

On a side note, if it goes to a game 3 I hope the conditions of the parking lot improve. It was so muddy several vehicles needed to be pulled out. I felt bad for the workers at the rec plex.

Maybe Keller and the boys can take a pay cut next year and they can put it towards paving the parking lot!!

From what I saw the defence was the strong point on Outlook so surprised to see that report. Granted I only saw the 1-0 Wadena game but Outlook generated barely any offensive chances that game and while Wadena controlled most of the play Outlook defended fairly well.

The first period was really all it was Gunit. Second period Kindo only had 2 shots i think. Start of the third they got 3 in 3 minutes on 2 breakaways and a powerplay.

Thanks,
I have to say, the Outlook coaching staff and fans must be either pulling their hair out or they have the emotions of a stone! This team definitely makes it look easy doing it the hard way…or is it making it look hard doing it the easy way? Either way they have sure had some entertaining games/series with wild swings. The cardiac kids if you will.

Regardless how you want to spin it lol but I will say that was the most fans I have ever seen in their rink. Attended quite a few playoff or provincial games over the years over there and not even close to this turnout. Great to see senior hockey surging this year all over the place.

It’s been a long time for Outlook and. Ice to see a good crowd. You would think they should do well with two towns the size of Outlook and Rosetown combined. Rosetown couldn’t get it done in AAA so maybe their guys can get a provincial banner even tho it will hang in Outlook.

Although they were never able to win an Allan cup they won AAA in 2012, 2013 and 2018.
