Does Moosomin have any chance to win? I’d say moosomin forwards are capable of matching fairly well with redvers forwards, but moosomin D is horrendous compared to redvers D. Redvers wins this one 3 straight.

Redvers in 4. Bud wins 1 of the games himself to avoid a sweep.

Redvers in 3, Redvers D too strong for Moosomin

Redvers the obvious favourites here, although goaltending could play a factor. Redvers goaltending always shakey and Moosomins could get hot. Even with their strong defense Redvers could lose one or two games here. Bud needs to show up big time.

Cody Matthewson has one regulation loss in 3 or 4 years since joining the rockets. Their goalies have also only given up 43 goals in 20 games this year and 6 goals against in 5 playoff games. I’d go as far as saying redvers goaltending is stellar, not shaky.

Goaltending is the reason they've only won 1 league title. Should have a handful with that lineup

Goaltending is the reason they've only won 1 league title. Should have a handful with that lineup Sorry watcher, goaltending isn't going to be a factor in this series. Redvers got beat down by a super duper team in Provincials (Kenaston) and they have something to prove. They are much stronger with the three Millers in the lineup. Last year, they didn't have them and Red Devil net minder Cody Dumaine stole two games in that final series to win the league. A much stronger defence and better offensive players than Moosomin. I'm afraid it's going to be a beatdown and a sweep.

I agree it will be a beat down and a sweep. Goaltending has been Redvers' weakness but the rest of their team is so strong it won't matter this year

Redvers Wins 6-3 in game one at home before a good crowd of around 600. Most lopsided game I have even seen for a three goal game. After one period, Redvers had outshot Moosomin 21 to 6 with 3 goal posts to boot. Levi Horn was great in net and with two minutes left in the first, Bud Holloway scored on the power play. 1-0 Rangers after one.
A Miller, forgot which one, tied the game three minutes into the second. Halfway through the second, another power play goal, this time by Monty Driver, and amazingly Moosomin led by 1 halfway through. Shots at that time were 29-10.
The miracle fizzled fast. Both Brayden and Bud Holloway left the game with injuries with around 6 to play in the second. Snap, crackle, pop! Kenton Miller, Presten Kopeck and Todd Gervais, and it was 4-2 after two with the shots 41-13. Gervais and the third line played great all nite long. I think he had a goal and two assists.
A beauty by soft hands Kopeck made it 5-2 early in the third and then the teams exchanged late goals. Final shots 54-24.
Redvers much too potent to lose a game in this series and this team has the makings of a dynasty. They have lost three games all year, game one to Oxbow in the regular season opener and two to Kenaston in Provincials.
Pot of gold $2,000.00 by a Redvers local. Strange call with 3 to play. Rocket Jordon Miller took a 4 minute penalty and coach Potapinkski didn't like it. Referee Rob Klassen punted him from the players bench at a time when the game outcome was never in doubt. Don't know what was said and if there will be any suspensions arising.

cant see it being a beatdown as moosomin is a good team but a sweep wouldn't surprise me Game 1 was the definition of a beat down.

If crusher was there and I assume he was from his report then he should have been smart enough to realize that the shot total was no where near accurate but yes redvers did outshoot them by a wide margin. Moosomin was playing a sound game keeping redvers on the outside and giving up shots but not quality ones, hitting the post from goalie shots isn’t really a good scoring chance. Moosomin entered the game missing 2 or there top 5 forwards and after 2 more left they just didn’t have the horses left. Would have been interesting to see what happened if they didn’t get hurt. But yes all things being even redvers is the better team and it’s going to be awful tough for moosomin to beat them

If Moosomin are missing now 4 top forwards, will be a quick 3 game sweep.
