Rosthern controlled most of the play. Wasn’t an overly physical game. Dalmeny’s net was knocked off at least 7 times by their goalie and D-men, don’t think Rosthern’s came off once. I was surprised Dalmeny didn’t eventually get a penalty for it. The one time it was clearly off a good 6 inches, everyone in the crowd was yelling that it was off, the ref let the play go on for about 50 seconds, then once Rosthern was coming down on a 2 on 1, he blew it dead as they crossed the blue line. Rosthern’s forward group is vastly superior to Dalmeny’s which will likely be the difference in this series. Dalmeny is really missing a guy like Leverton. The only place that is missing leverton is the concession. I bet that guy would put back a few doubles after a game. Wow hamburglar that was a good one. I Bet you really hurt the guys feelings, not sure how he’ll recover.

Allan has some gamers and the west division may have been better in the regular season, but thats why we play the games! Feed Brossart and the gang the sauciest rink burgers and they will pound Willow Cree in the finals!!!!! For all the Allan fans out there .... overtime squeaker win over Clavet not a good look for a championship run ...

As someone that has only ever played against him, he’s a smart, skilled player and seemingly a good leader.

What happened to the Sabres? Gone in 2... easily. Wheatkings are a strong team…hopefully willow finishes shellbrook tomorrow and we get that matchup….the rinks will be packed for that series!

Maybe Dalmeny should have went after the defunct wildcard roster and last I heard Waldheim guys approached Rosthern? Warman did win league with some of those guys but the heart and soul of that teams is Regnier imo…that kid works hard both ways

Biggest reason they left is because they couldn’t get ice is what I heard….there are some strong local kids that will be looking to play in the next few years

Rosthern top line was unmatched that series and series two should be entertaining, with a best of 5.
