That's brutal, teams should be fined $2000 (half of Kenastons payroll) if they cancel a game within 48 hours not due to weather. How can you not get 8 or 10 guys to play. If your cancelling games due to missing a few top guys that's even worse. Man up and play.

It’s unfortunate but most other teams have also gone through this a time or two before. Teams go through periods where the local numbers aren’t there. Don’t think it helps the situation to kick them when they’re down.

If I remember correctly, wasn’t it Davidson that got the check to head in that game? Loreburn had 5 penalties, Davidson had 7. Yea they talk a lot but so does any other team.

It's sunny and 75 today. If Butte used weather as excuse that's a joke. I know Butte just got high speed internet a year ago but maybe we can get them on some smartphones now with one of these crazy new apps. Group chat maybe even to say in or out more than 4 hours before a hockey game. All pretty crazy foreign ideas. Maybe best they pull the cord now and save the rest of the league and officials time.
