No disrespect to Bryce Fiske but there was only one clear cut winner for the dman of the year award which should have been Connor Vermeulen.

Who votes on these awards? I believe each team gets a vote. And they are not allowed to vote for their own nominee. |

You could make the argument that vermuluen could have won MVP behind fortier, and you’re telling me he didn’t win d man of the year?
Twice as many points, better skater, better passer etc…
Not to be a Jet fan boy here but Pierson Marquette is a true rookie and if he played more games could also have a case for goalie of the year (don’t think he’s goalie of the year, but if played more would have an argument) better candidate for rookie of the year IMO
Just bullshit senior hockey anyways, but just my 2 cents.

Found this in the constitution. Re-vote? d. Rookie of the Year as voted by League Representatives i. Eligible Players must be in their first year of senior hockey, be 21 years of age or younger as of December 31 in the calendar year in which the current season began. |

Sorry but who ever voted fiske to win is an idiot and lives under a rock. Vermuelon should have been a clean sweep for the voting except for Jansens own vote. Jansen runs through him. As someone said earlier. He has a case to be mvp as well behind fortier.
